The JOBS program fosters pre-release services and the attainment of industry-recognized credentials to improve the long-term workforce outcomes for returning citizens of the communities of Hillsborough, Pasco, and/or Polk County. Helping Offenders Prepare for Employment (HOPE)
The Helping Offenders Prepare for Employment (HOPE) program prepares returning citizens for success upon reentering the community. Participants of this program receive workforce development training including vocational training, housing, and employment opportunities. The program serves returning citizens returning to Hillsborough, Pasco, and Polk County, Florida.
Second Chance Heroes: Veteran Employment and Support Services Program
The Second Chance Heroes: Veteran Employment and Support Services Program, our mission is to empower veterans navigating the journey from incarceration back to civilian life, offering them the tools, resources, and support needed for successful reintegration. Climate Labor Initiative Maximizing Access to Training and Employment (CLIMATE)
The Climate program champions job quality improvement in the climate resilience sector. This program creates training and job opportunities in the growing climate resilience sector. The program broadens access to diverse talents, enhancing the sector's innovative and adaptive capacity. This program drives diversity, creativity and innovation in the workforce. Fostering Aspirations: Mentor Engagement (FAME)
The Fostering Aspirations: Mentor Engagement (FAME) is designed for youth ages 10 to 17 residing in Hillsborough or Polk County, Florida who are seeking guidance, support, and inspiration to navigate the complexities of adolescence and lay a solid foundation for their future. Here are characteristics of youth who would greatly benefit from participating in the FAME program: aspiring leaders, underrepresented youth, socially isolated, eager to give back, in need of positive role models, and others. YouthBuild TBAH is a community-based alternative education program for youth between the ages 16 and 24 residing in Hillsborough County. The YouthBuild TBAH program simultaneously addresses several core issues important to low-income communities: affordable housing, education, employment, leadership development, and energy efficiency. The YouthBuild model balances project-based academic learning and occupational skills training to prepare disadvantaged youth for career placement. PLAN-Parent Leadership Advocacy Network
PLAN is the Parent Leadership Advocacy Network (PLAN) that works with parents in Polk or Hillsborough County. PLAN features an evidenced based curriculum (Nurturing Skills) provided to help parents and children learn to care for themselves and each other and to replace old, unwanted negative interactions with newer, more nurturing and positive ones.
