Fostering Aspiration: Mentor Engagement (FAME) Mentoring Program
Welcome to the FAME Program at Tampa Bay Academy of Hope, where we empower youth ages 10 to 17 in Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, and Manatee counties through transformative mentoring experiences. Our mission is to inspire young individuals to achieve their fullest potential by providing them with the support and guidance of caring mentors.
Our Approach
The FAME Program offers both one-to-one and group mentoring services, designed to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each participant. Our mentors are committed to a minimum of one school year or 12 months, dedicating at least one hour per week to mentoring. Monthly and Quarterly Activities
Tampa Bay Academy of Hope (TBAH) provides a comprehensive range of activities to enhance the mentoring experience:
Monthly Activities: Engaging events and workshops for mentors and mentees to build skills, explore new interests, and strengthen their bonds. Students involved in the FAME mentoring program can also apply for valuable vocational and occupation certifications. Apply now!
Quarterly Parental Activities: Opportunities for parents to connect with mentors, learn about their child's progress, and participate in activities that support their child's development.
Evidenced-Based Monthly Parenting Class: Additional support and resources for parents to foster a nurturing and supportive home environment.
No Cost to Families
All mentoring services provided by the FAME Program are offered at no cost to families, ensuring that every child has access to the support they need to thrive.
